The bulletins we currently produce are as follows:
Weekly news and events update
This is our main bulletin and is designed for people in third sector organisations (including committee members), community representatives and elected members, and staff in public sector agencies who work with the third sector.
It is sent to around 2,000 mailboxes every Thursday and provides a list of the new content on our website. It covers news, community events, training events, vacancies, funding and finance, social enterprise, and goods, donations and services.
Our training update bulletin is sent out monthly to the main bulletin mailing list. It provides information about upcoming training courses which still have some availability. It is designed for anybody who works or volunteers in the third sector. Public sector staff are welcome to attend our training sessions too.
For anyone who wants to be the first to find out about the latest volunteering opportunities. Sign up for this fortnightly bulletin
if you're interested in volunteering but not sure what kind of things you could do or are already volunteering but are looking for something extra,
more suitable or entirely different. There will also be links to paid jobs, for those actively job searching.
Volunteer recruitment and management
A bulletin designed for staff and volunteers in the third and public sectors who have responsibility for recruiting, training and/or supporting volunteers. This is the main method of communication for our Volunteer Managers Network. Look out for future issues in 2015.
This is a monthly bulletin which is designed for people in the third sector who have a particular interest in improving the employability of the people of Fife. This is the main method of communication for our Employability Forum. Subscribe/unsubscribe now
Health and social care
This bulletin is aimed at health and social care professionals, as well as anyone with an interest in health and social care issues. It’s sent out monthly.
At present FVA manages the e-bulletin for Fife Centre for Equalities. This monthly bulletin covers local and national news and events around the theme of equality, diversity and social inclusion. It also includes details of relevant training and development opportunities and useful third party links, eg for funding support for groups.
