It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

To celebrate International Volunteer Managers Day and acknowledge and appreciate all of the people (staff and volunteers) who lead, manage, recruit, support, guide, and encourage volunteers in Fife, we're arranging this fully interactive online session to give you in-the-moment answers to your questions in relation to your role.

Volunteer Managers' - Your Question Time is a drop-in session for all your volunteer-related recruitment and management issues.

    • Got problems with paperwork? We can help!
    • Wondering how to get staff more involved with volunteers? We have ideas we can share and we bet other VIOs (volunteering involving organisation) do too
    • Worried about an issue with a volunteer? Ask our advice - and other volunteer managers on the call can share their wisdom too (but we'll be keeping things confidential and if you join us, you should too)
    • Hoping you can get more volunteers by lighting a candle? We'll do a very short run-through on targeted recruitment to help you reach out to new audiences
    • You bring the questions, we'll help with the answers!

You should email any questions in advance to [email protected]

This will allow us to group questions together and we'll spend part of the time answering those.

We're also have time for on-the-day questions - put them in the chat and others on the call can get also get involved by sharing their experiences too.

International Volunteer Managers Day was established to 'celebrate the profession of volunteer leadership'. However, at FVA we know that not all 'managers' of volunteers are called this, or perhaps don't even see themselves in this role. We encourage anyone who has any role in leading, managing, recruiting, supporting, guiding, and encouraging volunteers in Fife to come along to this session, including those who are also volunteers. You don't have to have a question to attend, but do come with a willingness to share your knowledge with others. The consistent feedback we get from any of our training or forum events is that hearing from others is hugely useful and beneficial. There's so much we can share. Let's celebrate that!
