Role
SDS Options is looking for a personal assistant to help an 80-year-old female to get out of the house and enjoy some social activities. She enjoys going for a coffee and enjoying company of others.
The client walks with a zimmer and will require assistance to go to the toilet if out. She can only walk short distances and has limited movement down one side from a past stroke.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provision of personal care – toileting assistance when out
- Social activity assistance
- Encouragement to get out of the house
Female applicants only please. Due to the personal care elements of this role an occupational requirement applies. This is permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
