    The capital investment team develops affordable housing across Fife, Perth & Kinross, Falkirk and Clackmannanshire. Their five year strategy is to develop a further 2,000 new affordable homes across their areas of operation.

    About the Role

    This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Construction Inspector (Clerk of Works) team and join their wider capital investment team. The role will include:

    • Ensuring through on-site inspections that the new properties being developed for Kingdom and their Alliance partners achieve the required standards in health and safety compliance, specification, methods of construction, quality of work and materials
    • Line management of the construction inspector team
    • Managing project allocations and the performance of the team and ensuring excellent communication between the Construction Inspector and capital investment teams

    About You

    • You will be educated to HND level or have substantial technical or trade experience in a similar role
    • You must have proven experience of effectively leading and supporting a small team
    • You will have knowledge of site management, monitoring contracts and progress, working with project plans and specification compliance
    • You will have a passion for building effective partnerships and meeting the expectations of customers
    • You will have good IT skills, be proficient in analysing and interpreting data and report writing
    • You will need to have a full driving licence and access to a car for business use
    • You will be eligible to access our car loan scheme
    • You will be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland check
