    Barclays Destination Hospitality employability course starts on Monday 29 January 2024 in Kirkcaldy.

    Highlights include:

    • Access to Mapal FLOW e-learning platform including modules on food safety, and health and safety
    • CV and interview skills training and advice including mock interview
    • Qualifications - World Host customer service qualification and SCPLH Personal Licence
    • Practical skills - tray carrying, order taking, table setting, cocktail/mocktail masterclass
    • Soft Skills - confidence and assertiveness, teamwork and communication, and timekeeping.

    The course includes industry visits and motivational speakers.

    The course lasts five weeks with a one week work placement to gain experience.

    The course is open to those aged 16 plus. If candidates have no bus pass their Job Centre should pay their bus fares.

    Learning materials and lunch are included.
