Kingdom Housing Association provides housing and support throughout east central Scotland. Their asset management team manage, maintain and invest in their property assets to make sure that their properties provide attractive, good quality homes for our residents and future customers.About the Role
Kingdom is looking for a Grounds Maintenance Chargehand to work as part of their grounds maintenance team. The team will work across a specified geographical area undertaking year-round work for their customers in landscaped and communal areas. The team will carry out general ground maintenance such as grass cutting, weeding, hedge trimming, low level tree pruning and leaf collection. The Grounds Maintenance Chargehand will work as part of the team to provide this service and supervise a small team of operatives. Each team will have access to a van for travel between sites and will be provided with all the relevant training to carry out the role. They have various roles available, one in east Fife, one in central Fife, one in west Fife and one based in Perth. Please state which area(s) you are applying for in your application.
About You
You will have previous experience in a grounds maintenance role, strong customer service skills and be able and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions. You will have a full driving licence and good knowledge of health and safety legislation. You will be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland check.
