Kingdom Housing Association provides housing and support throughout east central Scotland. Their asset management team manage, maintain and invest in their property assets to make sure that their properties provide attractive, good quality homes for their residents and future customers.
About the Role
Kingdom is looking for a Community Works Operative to work as part of their grounds maintenance team to keep their landscaped areas and open spaces clean and tidy. The Community Works Operative will work across east central Scotland, providing a waste uplift service to Kingdom's customers. The Community Works Operative will collect litter and debris from designated areas, provide a gritting and grit bin maintenance service, carry out safe identification, removal and disposal of sharps and uplift household waste, recycling and bulky items. A van will be available for travel between sites and all relevant training will be provided.
About You
You will have good customer service skills, basic knowledge of health and safety legislation and be willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. A full driving licence is essential. You will be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland check.
