    Barclays Destination Hospitality employability course starts on Monday 18 March 2024 in Dunfermline.

    The course will help you learn new skills and gain qualifications, launch your career in hospitality, and is free of charge, safe and accessible. 

    The course includes: 

    • Modules on food safety and health and safety
    • CV, interview skills and mock interview 
    • World Host customer service qualification 
    • SCPLH Personal Licence
    • Practical skills like tray carrying, order taking, table setting and cocktail masterclass 
    • Soft skills like confidence and assertiveness, teamwork, communication and timekeeping 
    • Access to a work experience placement 
    • Guaranteed interviews with employers
    • Online e-learning modules
    • Live inspirational guest speakers from industry professionals

    Course Details

    The course lasts three weeks with a one week work placement to gain experience.

    Learning materials and lunch are included. 

    Who Should Attend?

    Those aged over 16 and who are currently unemployed and interested in starting a career in hospitality. 

    If candidates have no bus pass their Job Centre should pay their bus fares.
