Established in 2018 as a community cafe in the heart of the village of Ceres, The Village Cafe now has an exciting opportunity for someone to join their team. They are looking for a manager to work alongside the assistant manager and volunteers to continue the development of the wonderful community cafe.About You
Ideally you will have previous management experience in the hospitality sector. The Village Cafe is looking for someone who is enthusiastic, passionate about quality, the customer experience and their team, and understands the importance of delivering consistent high standards.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of calmly, efficiently, and happily running a busy service
- Great people skills
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- The ability to work to consistent high standards and demonstrate a passion for delivering great customer care and food service
- Good financial management skills, as well as being comfortable with technology
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience of managing business processes including bookings, food safety, health and safety, and stock control
- A can-do attitude
