Their client has a diagnosis of Parkinson’s and walks with a zimmer. She has poor balance and is easily exhausted after daily living tasks therefore needs support to prevent falls. Working at the client’s pace to get dressed and ready for breakfast will prevent her body shutting down. Getting changed for bed at night would also be beneficial. Hours can be negotiated at interview.

Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Having experience within this area would be of benefit.
This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups). Being a driver is an advantage due to location.
Female only due to the personal care elements of this role an Occupational Requirement applies. This is permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
Duties & Responsibilities

- Light meal preparation
- Assistance with housework
