    Kingdom Housing Association provides housing and support across east central Scotland. Their asset management team manage, maintain and invest in their property assets to make sure that properties provide attractive, good quality homes for residents and future customers.

    About the Role

    The role involves providing a high quality cleaning and clearance service within all of Kingdom's void properties. There is also a requirement to carry out some minor multi-trade works such as lock changes, tiling, fencing and laying loft insulation. There may also be opportunities to support with kitchen installations.

    You will work within their extensive team of operatives and will benefit from their knowledge and experience.

    About You

    You should have previous cleaning and labouring experience with a good knowledge of health and safety legislation. Previous experience of sharps identification and disposal and a relevant cleaning qualification is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Whilst the depot is in Glenrothes, you will be expected to work at and from any of Kingdom's properties. Extensive travel will be required for this post, therefore a van will be provided for the team so a current driving licence is essential.

    You must have a flexible approach to work and should be able to work well on your own or as part of a team. You will also be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland check.
