    Trust in Fife (TiF) operates two homeless accommodation hostels in Kirkcaldy providing support and guidance to people aged over 16 who have found themselves homeless. They also provide support to people in the private rented sector through the Fife Private Rental Solutions (FPRS) team. Their charity shop, The Cairn Centre, supports a team of volunteers and offers value-for-money products in the local community. All this helps to work towards achieving their mission of taking positive steps towards assisting vulnerable and homeless people in Fife.

    The Role

    A Lettings Officer is required to join the FPRS team. The role is diverse but will include all aspects of administration relating to starting and ending tenancies and communicating effectively with landlords, letting agents, and tenants. FPRS is looking for an applicant who has experience in the housing sector, with knowledge of the private rented sector and related legislation beneficial to the role.

    They must be educated to SVQ III in Housing (or another relevant discipline) and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people on multiple platforms.
