    About the Role

    Fife Care at Home and Housing Support Service provides support to individuals with severe and enduring mental ill health in their transition from long-term hospital stay to living as independently as they can in the community. The successful candidates must be able to work with the Service Manager and other Senior Practitioners in supporting, mentoring and guiding the team, coordinating the delivery of support across two locations in Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes, and completing key working duties including working with service users to define their own support plans.

    What SAMH is looking for

    SAMH is looking for an individual with good leadership and communication skills who can lead a team of Practitioners and work as part of a team. To be part of a rota that includes on-calls, sleepovers and weekend work. The candidate ideally should have an SVQ3 Health & Social Care qualification but this is not essential as SAMH can support you to achieve this.
