  • Burntisland and Kinghorn foodbank set to continue

    Created: 24/04/2024
News/Events Category: Goods, Donations and Services

Funding issues have meant that, from July, Burntisland would no longer be supported by Kikcaldy Foodbank due to budget constraints. However, existing members have come to the rescue and will continue the vital service, creating an independent organisation.

After holding a public meeting in February, people came forward to be board members and volunteer for the new organisation.

The organisation would like to become self-sufficient through pledges from the local community.

The new foodbank is currently based out of Salvation Army in Burntisland.
