    Created: 09/04/2014
    News/Events Category: General News

Skills Development Scotland have now awarded contracts to a wide range of Learning Providers for 2014/15. The Employability Fund contracts were offered, accepted and in place for the start date of 1st of April 2014. The contracts are mapped against the stages of the Employability Pathway and are split by age group.

Employability Fund monies are targeted by Scottish Government at young people under 25 years of age, however a percentage of the fund has been used to support delivery for those 25+ years. The 25+ funding has been used to support Stages 3 and 4 only of the Employability Pathway.

The following providers have been successful:

Stage 2: Rathbone Training, Life Skills Central Ltd, Lead Scotland, Link Group Ltd and Fife Council who are managing a Consortium of Providers.

Stage 3: Springboard, Rathbone Training, Life Skills Central Ltd, Kingdom Homes Ltd, IDTC Ltd, Fife Council and Fife College.

Stage 4: Springboard, Rathbone Training, Life Skills Central Ltd, LAGTA Training, IDTC Ltd, Fife Council and Fife College.

Detailed information on the delivery arrangements for these contracts will be available in the near future, keep an eye out on the

Opportunities Fife website or come along to our Forum on 30th April 2014 to hear more.
