    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

    Deutsche Bank and Foundation Scotland are pleased to announce their small grants fund for 2014. Local voluntary or community groups running projects focusing on young people aged 11-18 years are encouraged to apply for funding, up to a maximum of £5,000.

    Deutsche Bank’s youth engagement programme, Born to Be, aims to prevent youth unemployment by supporting exciting opportunities that engage young people – enabling them to fulfill their potential.

    Applications will only be accepted for projects that enable young people aged 11-18 years to fulfill their potential. In addition the projects may fall into any number of the following areas:

    • Projects that prevent young people becoming NEET (not in education, employment or training) later in life;
    • Projects that provide educational support or opportunities;
    • Projects that enable young people to develop essential life skills;
    • Projects that enable young people to develop employability/enterprise skills.

    Funding is available to groups based and operating in Glasgow and Edinburgh (and within a 30 mile radius of each city).

    The closing date for receipt of applications is 12 noon on Friday 30th May 2014.

    Please visit Foundation Scotland's website for full guidelines and how to apply.
