Volunteer Co-ordinator - Fife Migrants Forum

Salary: £8.00 per hour
Fife Migrants Forum (FMF) is a registered Scottish charity serving as an information discovery point, primarily, but not exclusively, to members from migrant and ethnic minority communities in Fife. FMF provides the following services:
FMF also works in collaboration with mainstream service providers and other third sector organisations to provide tailored support to their client groups.
Your role will be an exciting new development within the Fife Migrants Forum, Wise2Money, funded by the Scottish Legal Aid Board. You will co-ordinate Volunteering Project for Wise2Money to enable community members to perform voluntary work in the Forum for a time limited period. This will involve providing on-going supervision of volunteers.
You should have a qualification at further/higher education level or relevant job experience. Experience of co-ordinating and delivering opportunities for positive activity, learning, volunteering and work preparation, experience of mentoring or coaching to individuals from migrant communities as well as networking and developing positive partnerships with other agencies.
