    Support Practitioners - Ref No: E-NEFF-SP
    Location: Leven, Glenrothes, Cupar and Kirkcaldy
    Full time: 39 hours per week (part time hours are available)
    Salary: £14,748 per annum pro rata
    Sessional Workers - £6.79 per hour
    Participation in Sleepovers, Lone Working, Waking Nights, Flexible Shift Patterns and Personal Care will be involved in these posts.

    The Richmond Fellowship Scotland has over 2500 staff working in around 190 services across the whole of Scotland. Staff are committed to providing a high standard of care to the people being supported, fully inclusive in their values and respecting the choice of every individual. It's not just working in the care sector, it's about caring about the work that The Richmond Fellowship Scotland do.

    Applications are invited from candidates to work within a social care setting, providing flexible cover to people in their own homes and work with people who are at risk of being excluded from society, people who may have a variety of support needs including: mental health difficulties, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, dementia, autism or contact with Criminal Justice system. The successful applicants will be supporting people in their own home with all aspects of daily living, such as general housekeeping and budgeting, personal care, home care, meals and medication, social and recreational activities, as well as enabling them to develop meaningful relationships and establish links within the local area.

    Relevant experience is desirable, however an ability to get along with people, practical life skills and common sense are just as important. Full induction and training will be provided, as well as the opportunity to gain an SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care. The Richmond Fellowship Scotland staff also enjoy a competitive salary and a generous employer's contribution towards a workplace pension, as well as other employee-related rewards.

    The Richmond Fellowship Scotland also have a number of Sessional posts available which are paid on an hourly basis. Sessional Workers are employed on an "as required" basis to assist with annual leave and training days. They carry out the same duties as Support Practitioners. Applicants are required to hold a full driving licence with access to transport.
