    The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is a leading voluntary organisation, supporting people with a broad range of needs to live in their own homes, as part of their community. Although The Richmond Fellowship Scotland support over 2500 people throughout Scotland, they are committed to delivering services that recognise people as individuals and treat them with dignity and respect; just like they would all want ourselves.

    Applications are invited from candidates to work within a social care setting, providing flexible cover to people in their own homes and work with people who are at risk of being excluded from society; people who may have a variety of support needs including: mental health difficulties, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, dementia or autism. The successful applicants will be supporting people in their own home with all aspects of daily living, such as general housekeeping and budgeting, personal care, home care, meals and medication, social and recreational activities, as well as enabling them to develop meaningful relationships and establish links within the local area. Relevant experience is desirable, however an ability to get along with people, practical life skills and common sense are just as important.

    Full induction and training will be provided, as well as the opportunity to gain an SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
