    Created: 25/09/2014
    News/Events Category: General News

ASH Scotland receive funding from the Scottish Government and NHS Health Scotland to provide "free" tailored one-hour Tobacco Awareness-Raising Sessions (TARS) and are delighted to be able to offer them to mental health and/or older adults organisations within Fife. The sessions are aimed at simply getting staff/volunteers to consider what the issues are relating to smoking with their particular client group, and to deliver them at a time and place which is suitable to the organisation. For more information about TARS please visit www.ashscotland.org.uk/tars

ASH Scotland can also provide tailored training on specific topics (e.g. tobacco and dementia, children, carers and second-hand smoke) or they can help develop tobacco policies for individual organisations.

Please see below information sheets on smoking and mental health, smoking and older adults and a fact sheet about smoking and dementia.
