This particular event is free to attend, so no payment is required.
It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.This half day session will be looking to cover:-
What is Regulated Work:
- Who needs to be PVG checked;
- Who doesn’t need to be PVG checked;
- What is a child;
- What is a protected adult.
The PVG Forms:
- Which form do we use for an application;
- What are the main errors on the forms;
- Hints and Tips on Form completion.
The PVG Certificate:
- What information will we get back;
- How do we assess the information on a certificate;
- What if an applicant is barred or considered for listing;
- What if PVG says they are suitable but we don’t think they are.
Referring to the Barring Lists:
- What is inappropriate behaviour with vulnerable groups;
- What are our legal requirements;
- How do we pass on information.
Restrospective Checking:
- What it is and how long it runs for;
- What groups have to do to meet the criteria.
Who should attend:
People involved with the processing of disclosure applications and need an understanding of the PVG Scheme.
Accreditation Award:
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
