It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.Building on similar successful events held in January and June 2014, this partnership workshop will explore the issues of Safer Lone Working and Personal Safety at Work and, through proactive, practical strategies, help individuals and organisations to reduce their specific risks and improve the safety of their staff. The aim is also to increase participants’ awareness and understanding of the help available from the partner organisations.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the session participants will have:
- Increased their awareness of Personal Safety at Work, including the legal perspective;
- Increased awareness of risk assessment factors;
- Developed individual practical skills and strategies;
- Increased confidence to avoid or manage situations that may threaten worker personal safety at work;
- Learned how to PLAN for personal safety.
Who should attend:
This session is intended for lone workers and those who have an interest in health and safety mangement and risk assessment of these subjects in SME's and voluntary organisations.
Accreditation Award:
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
