Argos offers free tablets and broadband on new Digital Skills Workshops
Created: 21/10/2014As partner of GO ON UK leading retailer Argos has pledged to provide practical skills, access and technology to some of the 9.5 million Brits who are still not online.
From Saturday 25 October until mid-January 2015, Argos aims to help up to 10,000 UK adults who lack digital skills by providing them with a 90 minute workshop in participating stores.
The workshop costs £20 but on completion attendees receive a free tablet and a voucher redeemable for free broadband with TalkTalk for one year (optional)*.
The two participating stores in Fife are Cupar and Kirkcaldy.

*Tablet: Proscan 7” dual core internet tablet, 8GB.
*TalkTalk SimplyBroadband for 12 months (usually £3.50 pmth), free installation and router. Customers still required to pay line rental at £15.95 a month.
