  • Dementia Programme Collaborative Workshops 2015

    Created: 28/10/2014
    News/Events Category: General News

    Throughout 2015, the Trust will be holding eight collaborative workshops, each with a specific theme. The purpose of these workshops is to consolidate understanding of what is happening in and across Scotland in relation to particular elements of dementia, and to consider where the Trust may make a useful contribution to develop new initiatives or develop what already exists, to bring greater benefit to people with dementia and carers. The Life Changes Trust welcome people with dementia and their carers to these events, as well as those who have a genuine interest in and relevant knowledge of the theme being discussed.

    Themed workshops include:

    • end of life care;
    • spirituality;
    • music;
    • mental health;
    • housing;
    • legal rights and services;commissioning of care;
    • workforce development.
