Planning the future for Fife Communities
Created: 29/10/2014Fifers can comment on the new proposed FIFEplan, which will determine the future shape of communities, when a six week consultation starts on Monday 27 October.
FIFEplan, Fife’s first Local Development Plan, is the blueprint for the future shape of the Kingdom including identifying sites for new housing, business and other new developments.
A series of Public drop-in information events will be held throughout Fife during the consultation period.
Information will be available to view between 3.00 and 7.00pm at the venues listed below:
Copies of the proposed FIFEplan along with Supplementary Guidance can be viewed on line at www.fifedirect.org.uk/fifeplan and the council office at Kingdom House, Kingdom Avenue, Glenrothes, Fife, KY7 5LY between 9.00am and 5.00pm.
The plan is also available at Fife’s community libraries during normal opening times. Copies available in libraries will be bespoke versions of the plan tailored to the area in which they are located.
