Due to the successful career advancement of a member of Frontline Fife Homelessness Services ADP team, they are now seeking to recruit for the sought after position, Recovery Link Worker, to work with clients experiencing drug or alcohol addictions.
As a member of the ADP team you will proactively seek to liaise with Frontline Fife’s wider Housing Support Teams and other external agencies to ensure clients gain access to services/recovery programmes which they choose to engage with to meet their needs. As a practitioner with experience in assisting clients with drug and alcohol addictions and/or delivering housing support services, as a minimum, you will be committed to meeting quality standards as set out by Regulators, Project Funders and Frontline Fife as well as be informed by evidenced based practice underpinned by service user involvement/participation. With the ability to demonstrate a ‘High Tolerance’ approach to client working, you will also have self-discipline ensuring case notes and compliance targets are met, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a recognised qualification at SVQ level 3 or equivalent in health, community education or social work and a clean driving licence. This post is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking to either further their career or develop a specialist role in drug and alcohol addictions.
Due to this post being subject to Scottish Government and the Fife ADP targets, this post allows for up to 20% of contracted hours to be ‘out of normal office hours’ to work to meet need of clients with addictions therefore demands a flexible approach to working.
