The Lee O'Brien Solvent Trust have made it through to the final stages of the People's Millions. This is a public vote to win the much needed funding that the charity need to develop its services and awareness raising styles. Unfortunately, solvent abuse is a rising issue in Scotland, with more deaths happening each year. The LOST and Found Project will see a new drop-in service opened across the East of Scotland, providing a support service to solvent abuse users. Unfortunately, there are no alternatives to solvent abuse, like with other substances, support is the only option. As well as providing the drop-in service, LOST will also raise awareness and provide education to local communities. Hoping to prevent people from using solvents and let communities recognise if someone is.

If you would like to know more about the LOST and Found project, you can take a look at the People's Millions website at www.peoplesmillions.org.uk. Also keep an eye on the Lee O'Brien Solvent Trust Facebook page to get updates and further information. We do hope you will feel that the LOST and Found project deserves your support and you will be willing to help us in saving lives in Scotland.
