Employment Specialist IPS Service - Fife Employment Access Trust
Created: 19/12/2014Fife Employment Access Trust has a vacancy for an Employment Specialist to deliver the Individualised Placement and Support (IPS) approach working with clients with mental health problems across all FEAT projects.
Hours: Up to 35 per week
Salary: £24,675 per annum (pro rata) applications are accepted for candidates looking for 28-35 hours per week.
The successful candidate will proactively manage a caseload of individuals who have experienced mental health problems who are unemployed and/or currently off work. You will deliver the Individualised Placement and Support approach evidence-based model of vocational rehabilitation for people with mental health problems. Working directly with all relevant stakeholders, the individual, NHS Fife, Fife Council, GPs, Employers, Job Centre Plus and Occupational Health to enable individuals to gain and retain employment. You will be part of a dynamic team offering an inclusive, non-judgmental approach to support, and empower people to flourish by managing their mental health for life. The successful candidate will be based in Fife Employment Access Trust offices in Glenrothes and will also be expected to carry out a proportion of work in various workplace settings on a one-to-one basis.
