Inclusion Fundamentals – a workshop on development of an inclusive service

Inclusion Fundamentals will give you the basic guiding principles in understanding the diverse needs of people of different protected characteristics and how these needs can be met with flexibilities and adjustments to how we normally conduct our business. This workshop will also improve your readiness in addressing equality issues within your organisation.

Trainer’s Biography:
Nina Munday joined Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) as the Manager for Fife Centre for Equalities in September 2014. She holds a Master of Arts in Sociology with honours from Aberdeen University and has two decades of working history within the voluntary sector at senior executive level in Scotland. She specialises in delivering training on equality, diversity and inclusion to a variety of client groups.
Prior to joining FVA, Nina worked for the Disabled People's Association of Singapore as a Diversity & Inclusion Consultant for two years where she had written two significant publications; “Accessibility of Banking Services in Singapore” and “Exceptional Journeys” (a collection of case studies that promote reasonable accommodations at workplaces). In addition she developed risk assessment and equality impact assessment frameworks for corporate, public and voluntary organisations. Many individuals and organisations have benefited from training courses designed and delivered by Nina such as Inclusion Fundamentals and Inclusion Cultivation.
Nina Munday, formerly known as Nina Giles, was the Director of Edinburgh and Lothians Regional Equality Council for eight years before working with Disabled People’s Association.
