Community Engagement Officer
Salary: £25,016
Hours: 37 per week

Role:
The Coalfields Regeneration Trust are looking for a dynamic and focussed individual, who has the experience and drive to assist CRT in Scotland to identify, target and participate in a key number of local and national strategic projects, programmes and initiatives. The post holder will play a key role in delivering the Coalfields Community Futures Programme, which has the potential to make a special contribution to the regeneration of Coalfield Communities.
This is an interesting and varied role and involves working with residents and groups to better understand community needs and aspirations, by providing information and guidance to local organisations within the voluntary and community sector, particularly working in partnership to help local communities.
Organisation profile:
The Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) is Britain’s leading regeneration agency dedicated to Coalfield Communities. Since 1999, they have awarded over £100 million in grants. However, they are far more than a grant maker and are increasingly taking a pro-active approach to developing and investing in strategic programmes to address regeneration issues.
In Scotland, the Coalfields Regeneration Trust have a funding offer from the Scottish Government to March 2016. They will be working closely with a range of partners to assist a programme of regeneration activities in targeted Coalfield Communities.
