  • Help even more children benefit from Play - launch of a new resource

    Created: 19/03/2015
    News/Events Category: General News

Fiona McLeod MSP, Acting Minister for Children and Young People, launched a new Play Ranger Toolkit developed by Inspiring Scotland's Fund - Go2Play.

The Play Ranger Toolkit is designed to promote this model of helping children access free play, but more importantly to empower and encourage anyone thinking of setting up a play ranger project. It is hoped the resource will help even more children to benefit from Play and help make Scotland become the best place to grow up.

The toolkit also includes everything you need to know to set up Play Ranger provision including case studies of organisations who have and also an extensive list of appendices of policies and forms on everything from job descriptions, petty cash, risk assessments and monitoring and evaluation.
