    Created: 01/04/2015
    News/Events Category: Community Events

    When: 6.30 - 9.00pm, Wednesday 22 April 2015
Where: SRUC Oatridge Campus, Near Linlithgow
This event is being organised by Fife Acces Forum

It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

Fife Access Forum and Fife Council's Outdoor Access team invite Fife residents and interested parties along to their networking event.

Many communities have active path and environment groups doing a great job of improving their local area. However there can be many technical aspects and difficulties with path creation, and further knowledge can be helpful to address these issues.

This seminar will have a speaker from Paths For All, who are the national organisation advising on path creation and all the infrastructure this entails. This is a great opportunity to visit Oatridge, where there is a mile loop of tracks with demonstrations on site for gates, motorbike barriers and path surfacing techniques, which will prove invaluable for groups new to path creation or wanting to know more about what is available.

The event is free, with tea and coffee provided and booking is essential. There will be transport via mini-bus for 15 people on first come first served basis.

For more information or to book a place e-mail [email protected] or call Alison Irvine on 01592 583239.
