Starting salary: £14,948 pro rata (£7.96 per hour)
Location: Kirkcaldy
Hours: As requiredAt a time of exciting growth in the day service, RNIB Scotland is expanding its service and is looking to recruit more Sessional Resource Worker Assistants to assist the team and promote our services.
RNIB Visual Impairment and Learning Disability (VILD) provides a range of specialist services to people who have a learning disability and confirmed or suspected sight problems.
As a Resource Worker Assistant you will support the independence and social inclusion of adults who have learning disabilities and confirmed or suspected sight difficulties either within the building based services or 1:1 in the community.
With experience of working with people who have either a learning disability or a sight problem, you will have a commitment to complete all essential training required for a registered service.
Appointment is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG Scheme) and appropriate check.
Closing Date: Thursday 30 April 2015.
