    The Exit Community Centre currently has a vacancy for an Office Supervisor.

    The successful candidate will:

    • Be able to work unsupervised;
    • Have a working knowledge of PAYE and, in particular, be able to process weekly wages by way of the HMRC web service;
    • Be able to maintain daily income and expenditure accounts;
    • Be able to prepare monthly aggregate statements of income and expenditure for presentation to the Management Committee;
    • Be able to prepare annual income and expenditure to trial balance stage;
    • Be able to maintain Contracts of Employment and holiday entitlements and records of holidays taken;
    • Be able to engage with other members of staff and members of the public;
    • Be capable of being responsible for supervising the work of Clerical Assistant and taking action as may be appropriate;
    • Be capable of ensuring that the following tasks are fulfilled with delegation, as the Office Supervisor may deem appropriate, to the Clerical Assistant:
    • Appropriately responding to and recording, where appropriate, all communications;
    • Maintaining supplies of office consumables;
    • Providing administrative and clerical support to the Caretaker and the Kitchen Supervisor, for example, by processing requests and accounts relating to cleaning and catering supplies;
    • Maintaining records of incoming and outgoing mail;
    • Processing all booking and payments relating to the hire of facilities including, in particular, maintaining the Bookings Diary;
    • Maintaining the Footfall Register and Database;
