This event is being organised by Fife Domestic and Sexual Abuse Partnership
This particular event is free to attend, so no payment is required.
It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.This one day course is facilitated by Fife Rape and Sexual Assault Centre (FRASAC) and is aimed at practitioners working with adults and/or children or who those who are supporting survivors of sexual abuse.
Course Aims:
To develop an understanding of the specific issues for those who have been raped or sexually assaulted at some time in their lives.
Objectives of the Training:
- To consider the nature, attitude and prevalence of sexual abuse;
- To examine the immediate and longer term impacts;
- To identify ways to deal with disclosure;
- To become familiar with police and court procedures.
Please note refreshments/lunch are not supplied but can be purchased at the on-site café.
