    This full day course is facilitated by Fife Rape and Sexual Assault Centre (FRASAC) and Kingdom Abuse Survivors Project (KASP) and is aimed at those who are already working in an area where contact with survivors of abuse is common. The training will look at men and boys experience of surviving childhood sexual abuse, rape and sexual assault and how they can often be the hidden victims.

    Course Aims:

    • To develop an understanding of the specific issues for men and boys who have experienced abuse;
    • To look at what may be unique to being a male survivor, examine the barriers to disclosure and challenge myths and assumptions;
    • To identify ways we as workers can support male survivors.
