It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.Get into Retail is a 3 week employability programme run by The Prince’s Trust and Home Retail Group (Argos) for young people who are interested in pursuing a career in retail.
Young people will:
- Gain training and work experience in an Argos store;
- Improve their teamwork and communications skills;
- Boost their confidence;
- Develop their CV and interview skills;
- Benefit from our strong links with employers when looking for work;
All travel costs for Get Into courses are covered by the Prince’s Trust.
Who:
When Prince's Trust Scotland are recruiting for their courses they look for young people with the following qualities:
- Motivated and enthusiastic;
- Punctual and flexible;
- Have an understanding of, and experience of team working;
- The confidence to interact with both customers and colleagues;
- Willingness to learn and develop their skills further;
- Able to work on their own initiative when required.
When and where:
The course is based in Argos stores in Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Leven and Glenrothes. The course runs from 10 to 28 August 2015.
