    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

Applications for Credit Union Development Fund (CUDF) grants are now being accepted.

The CUDF is a deposit account in which credit unions can deposit their surplus monies to earn interest. In addition, Unity pays the equivalent of 0.125% of the average balances in the CUDF accounts into a fund which is used to make grants to further the credit union movement in the UK.

Maximum grant value is £3,000 per individual credit union. The overall grant fund value is £25,000. Grants must be used to fund (or part-fund) specific projects or activities which will benefit the credit unions and/ or its members.

Applications can be made by any credit union which:

    • Holds an account with Unity Trust Bank
    • Is not sitting on excess funds which could otherwise be used to fund the project/activity

The deadline for entries is 1.00pm on Friday 28 August 2015.
