This event is being organised by Fife Voluntary Action in partnership with Fife Council, NHS Fife and Police Scotland
This particular event is free to attend, so no payment is required.
It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.This partnership workshop will explore the issues of 'Safer Lone Working' and 'Personal Safety at Work'. Through exploration of proactive, practical strategies, help individuals and organisations to reduce their specific risks and improve the safety of their staff.
The aim is also to increase participants' awareness and understanding of the help available from the partner organisations.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the session participants will have:
- Increased their awareness of Personal Safety at Work, including the legal perspective;
- Increase awareness of risk assessment factors;
- Developed individual practical skills and strategies;
- Increased confidence to avoid or manage situations that may threaten worker personal safety at work;
- Learned how to PLAN for personal safety
This session is intended for lone workers and those who have an interest in health & safety management and risk assessment for these subjects in SMEs and voluntary organisations.
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
