You will learn the difference between formal and informal meetings, tips and techniques for note taking, the role of the minute taker, and how to use appropriate language for minutes.
Trainer: Lorna Moffat
Course Aims:
Upon completion of the course, the learner will have in-depth knowledge of the following:-
- What meetings are and why we have them;
- The importance of an agenda;
- The key elements in an agenda;
- What minutes are and why they are needed;
- Different styles of note taking;
- How to produce appropriate minutes of a meeting.
