Kitbag for Schools and Families - Introductory Workshop
Created: 01/10/2015Introduction Kitbag for Schools and Families is a set of tools designed to help children be calm and relaxed, resilient and confident, helping to build emotional wellbeing and positive relationships in school and in families.
Schools using Kitbag have reported that it brings out qualities like kindness and honesty in children, and it also encourages silence and reflection in a natural way.
This aims to build your awareness and confidence in working with Kitbag to promote emotional wellbeing in children by: demonstrating how Kitbag has already been used in primary schools; finding out how Kitbag can benefit the life of a school and the wellbeing of individual children; giving you the skills and understanding to put Kitbag into practice in school or at home and exploring practical ideas for working with Kitbag in the school or family environment.
This introductory workshop is aimed at anyone working with or caring for primary age children in educational settings or in families.
