It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

This session is the second of five sessions from the "Democratic and Active Citizenship" programme.

If you are a member of a community group this session can be run for you. "Inclusive societies, citizenship, that sort of thing" - What do these terms actually mean and how can they be promoted or sustained? How do the concepts of "citizenship" and "inclusion" extend to particular groups within society - young people, travellers, older people, minority ethnic groups, disabled people etc.

In this session we will examine local political history by way of illustrating current issues and concerns.
