Supporting your volunteers is pivotal in ensuring that you sustain quality volunteers. This can be achieved by ensuring the effectiveness of your induction process and how it impacts on volunteers. Understanding that you may require different methods of support and supervision, each volunteer can and will be completely different. Understanding how to effectively manage difficult/challenging situations and finally dismissing or 'counselling out' volunteers.
