    Post: Part time Community Café Manager
    Duration: Temp. 6 months with possible extension to 1 year
    Hours: 8 hours per week
    Salary: £8.25 per hour


    The Open Door Project, which operates a community café every Thursday based at Bennochy Church Kirkcaldy, invites applications for the above temporary post.

    Experience of kitchen and front of house coupled with ability to lead a small team would be an advantage and the following qualifications are essential:
    • Current REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate;
    • Current Food Hygiene Intermediate Certificate or willing to work towards this qualification.
    Under direction from the Open Door Project team the successful candidate will manage a team of motivated volunteers including staffing rota; ensure quality and consistency of food in the café; control stock and a small budget.

    Access to a vehicle is essential.
