It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.
This highly regarded workshop is for family and unpaid carers of people living with dementia and is free to attend but booking is a requirement.
The workshop considers what is meant by communication, what to communicate and ways to communicate. It looks at how the brain sees communication in dementia and explores different ways of communicating for someone living alongside and caring for a person living with dementia.
It will explore real life strategies: when things go wrong what helps? It is often asked if workers can attend and the workshop has been adapted for delivery to organisations who are interested in improving their knowledge of dementia and interactions with people living with dementia. There will be a charge of £90 plus £5 per attendee. Attendees will receive an information pack and an attendance certificate. Please contact Lesley Childs at Fife Carers Centre for further information and discussion.
