    Fundraising & Communications Worker
    36 Hours per week
    £28,000 per annum


    Fife Women’s Aid has an exciting opportunity for a creative and self-driven Fundraising & Communications worker to join our team. You will be responsible for raising unrestricted and restricted income in line with annual targets and increasing the profile and reach of the charity’s fundraising across Fife and to proactively develop and deliver Fife Women’s Aid’s communications strategy.

    You will have proven experience working within a fundraising environment and have knowledge of fundraising within the voluntary sector and the best practice surrounding this. You will also have a good working knowledge of digital communications, including ongoing development and upkeep of website, e-newsletters and social media channels to market and promote Fife Women’s Aid’s services and activities.

    An understanding of and a passion for the voluntary sector is essential and you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    In conjunction with their Managers, you will source a range of income streams, with a focus on sustaining and developing key service delivery areas, building corporate support, implementing and promoting an annual appeals programme and developing an individual giving scheme. You will also support managers across FWA with grant funding and coordinate applications across services.

    This post is initially for one year although you will be expected to secure funding to continue this role on an ongoing basis.
