    Cook - Part-time (Fife) - Ref: 8461-1
    Hours: 16 hours (Mon - Fri)
    Salary: £14,948 pro rata (£7.96 per hour)
    Location: Scotland


    Pathway is a building based service for adults with complex needs and sight loss. You will provide meals and offer skills development opportunities for customers, whilst working within RNIB and legislative guidelines, and be able to relate well to all customers ensuring that their needs are met.

    You will need to have experience within the Catering environment, the ability to maintain high professional standards and to follow quality assurance systems.

    You will also have a basic food hygiene certificate (level 2), basic knowledge of HACCP and cook safe and knowledge of the Allergen Regulations.

    Experience of cooking in a care setting would be desirable but not essential.

    Appointment is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG scheme) and appropriate check.
