  • Fife Folk Museum - Development Manager

    Created: 11/02/2016
    News/Events Category: Job Vacancies

    Post: Development Manager
    Duration: 2 years
    Hours: 18 hours per week
    Salary: £16,000 per annum

This post offers an exciting opportunity to the right candidate to help with the development of a small and popular volunteer-run Museum. The ideal would be to establish a framework within which a professional full-time Curator could work, while still using to best advantage the many and varied talents of our pool of volunteers, and to try to establish a financial basis for employing such a person.

In 2018 Fife Folk Museum will be celebrating its 50th birthday, which will be a good opportunity for promotion of the Museum and the development of new displays. The post-holder could attract more student placements, and generally take advantage of all opportunities to help drive the development of the Museum and achieve financial sustainability.

The Job could be done on a Consultancy or Freelance basis.

    Previous applicants need not apply.
