Introduction Flourishing is another way of saying good mental health or emotional wellbeing. It means being able to enjoy life, to cope with life's difficulties and to believe that you have something you can give to others. This course is about understanding what promotes flourishing in children and young people, and introduces you to Kitbag as a practical tool you can use in schools and with families.
This course will look at four key aspects of flourishing: mindfulness, confidence, emotional balance and character strengths. Kitbag for Schools and Families is a set of tools designed to focus on these aspects of flourishing and therefore help to build emotional wellbeing and positive relationships in schools and families.
The aim of this course is to help you feel more aware of and skilled in using Kitbag to help children and young people become more mindful, grow in confidence, balance their emotions and develop their character strengths.
This course is suitable for anyone who works with or cares for children and young people.
