  • Alec Dickson Trust Funding Available to Help Young People Volunteer

    Created: 22/03/2016
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

The Alec Dickson Trust provides grants of up to £500 to help young people aged under 30 or small groups of young people run a volunteering or community service project in their local area.

The fund seeks to support projects that enhance the lives of others, particularly those most marginalised by society such as the homeless; those with drug dependency problems; and people with disabilities; etc.

The Trustees particularly like to fund projects that involve lots of volunteers, and/or encourage these young people to stay engaged as volunteers in the long term. Trustees will meet four times a year to consider applications. For further information on how to apply contact [email protected] or visit their website.
